About the event
The Foundation Training for Newly Recruited Lecturers of Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) is designed to support newly appointed lecturers in developing the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required for effective teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional development. The training introduces participants to Outcome-Based Education (OBE), quality assurance, accreditation, academic governance, research, professional ethics, and continuous professional development, with particular emphasis on the academic responsibilities of a university lecturer. The training covers Foundations of Effective Teaching; Accreditation, Ranking and OBE; Bloom’s Taxonomy; Teaching, Learning and Assessment in OBE; CQI Strategies for Sustainable OBE Practices; Technical Paper Writing for Journals and Conferences; Public Procurement in Bangladesh; OBE Culture; Constructing Rubrics for OBE; Research and Strategies for Securing Research Grants; Effective Office Management Strategies; Professional Ethics; Service Rules of Bangladesh; Income Tax Return Preparation; and Fire Safety Strategies.
